About Us
We are committed to high-quality research
At HOUSED Lab we believe in the power of research to promote social wellbeing and mutual understanding. We believe that housing justice and economic development goals are complementary instead of opposing. We strive to provide high-quality, transparent and reproducible research outcomes in each of our projects.
Our Story
Our Lab is small and young, but it is based on strong values of integrity and state of the art methods to provide solid evidence of how to reconcile housing justice and economic development goals.
Since 2021, our lab is based at the University of Texas at San Antonio within the School of Architecture and Planning and the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design.

Collaborating Faculty
Housing and Economic Development research is by essence multidisciplinary. At HOUSED Lab, we collaborate with a wide range of UTSA faculty members to bring the best research to fruition.
Alumni
Several students from the Master of Science of Urban and Regional Planning and the PhD programs of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Demography at UTSA have worked at the HOUSED Lab in the past. We are proud to see them take on new professional and academic adventures.
